Biography

Angus is celebrating over forty years in the financial services industry, a career which began in the Management Development Program at Barclays Bank PLC, in England, in 1980.

Further industry experience followed upon his arrival to the United States in 1985, spending the next ten years in the U.S. Banking Sector culminating in his appointment as Vice President and Managing Officer for Marquette Bank Minneapolis, a multi-billion dollar regional commercial bank.

In 1995, Angus launched a successful financial planning practice specializing in wealth accumulation, preservation and distribution strategies for individual clients and small businesses.

Originally schooled in Europe, Angus earned his MBA in Finance, with Honors, from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis/St.Paul. In addition to appropriate investment and insurance designations, Angus is also a Registered Principal with Cetera Networks, as well as a member of the Financial Planning Association.

In 1995, Angus also began providing strategic financial consulting services to the Financial Services community, expanding into Bennett, Mastin & Kosmak, Inc. in 2004 as a result of continued growth and commitment to quality.

Mike began his career in the financial services industry in 1999, as a fee based Financial Advisor at a large insurance company.  Subsequently moving to Swenson Anderson Financial Group, Mike has worked closely with Angus since 2001.

Naturally passionate for technology, Mike has focused his energies on the strategic integration and utilization of systems and processes to provide state of the art information for Angus and his clients.   Additionally, Mike is responsible for the day to day operations and Statement of Asset reporting.
   
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and continues to provide financial planning advice to his clients.
